Overview
Pasture-raised, grain-finished beef shares from a third-generation family farm in Central Ohio.
We're the Stutzmans, a third-generation farm family raising beef in the rolling hills of Holmes County. Our family has been providing locally raised beef for over 50 years. We sell bulk beef shares in four sizes: a 50 lb starter bundle, a quarter share (about 100 lbs), a half share (about 200 lbs), and a whole share (about 400 lbs). Orders ship anywhere in the contiguous United States. Our mission is simple: we serve families with beef they can trust, by caring deeply for our land, livestock, and family. Our cattle spend the majority of their lives on open pasture, grazing freely on a diverse, nutrient-rich diet. In their final phase, we finish them on a balanced mix of grain and forage to develop natural marbling, rich flavor, and tenderness. Our cows are raised free from hormones and steroids. We manage our pastures with an eye toward soil health: grazing stimulates fresh grass growth, and livestock hooves press plant matter into the earth to feed the soil. All beef is raised on our own farm in Central Ohio, with no outside sourcing.
