Overview

Kentucky's farmer-owned cooperative market offering produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, and ready-to-eat food across multiple weekly locations.

Founded in 1975, the Lexington Farmers' Market is a not-for-profit cooperative run by an elected board of member farmers. Its year-round Saturday flagship downtown at Fifth Third Pavilion in Henry A. Tandy Centennial Park (8AM-2PM) hosts 50+ vendors from 30+ Kentucky counties in peak season (April-October). Sundays at Southland Drive (10AM-2PM, April-October), Tuesdays and Thursdays at National Ave. (7AM until sellout, May-October), and Wednesdays at Greyline Station (4PM-7PM, year-round). Shoppers find produce, meat, eggs, dairy, baked goods, honey, and prepared foods. SNAP/EBT is accepted everywhere, and Kentucky Double Dollars matching stretches buying power on fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs, and dairy. It also hosts a Power of Produce (POP) Club for kids and an Artists and Makers Market. Members face regular inspections to verify their claims.
