Sonora Farmers' Market

Sonora's Certified Farmers' Market runs every Saturday morning from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., from mid-May through the end of October. Shoppers find California-grown, certified agricultural produce brought to market within a day of picking, alongside on-site prepared foods, commercial kitchen items, and handcrafted goods. Vendor stalls represent a wide range of growers and makers, from farmers and bakers to fishermen, each selling products of their own making. All produce sold here is grown in California, with an average farm-to-market distance of under 50 miles. The market accepts EBT and WIC, making it accessible to a broad range of shoppers. Each stall is operated by a separate farm or maker, so buyers can speak directly with the people who grew or made what they are buying.
