Overview

Anchorage's Saturday farmers market for fresh, locally grown produce, flowers, and Alaskan food from over 30 vendors.

Founded in 2006 by local grower Arthur Keyes, the South Anchorage Farmers Market has grown from a small summer gathering into one of Alaska's largest markets. We run every Saturday from early May through late September, 9am to 2pm, at the Kelly Create Ice Center on Old Seward Highway. With over 30 vendors, shoppers find fresh, locally grown produce, flowers, seafood, baked goods, and more, all sourced from Alaskan growers and makers. Our goal is simple: connect Anchorage residents directly with the farmers who grow their food, while giving those farmers a reliable outlet for their harvest. Live music plays at the market, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. We also invite musicians to apply to perform, and vendors to apply for available space each season.
