Family farm raising heritage-breed pigs, heirloom wildflowers, and Nigerian Dwarf goats on pasture.
Founded in 2013, Free Fleeing Farms is a family-operated farm focused on the conservation of wildlife, native species, and heritage-breed pigs. Our livestock program features Herefords, Large Blacks, Mangalitsas, and Gloucestershire Old Spots. We sell a wide variety of fresh pork cuts as well as smoked and cured products, including whole hog. Our flower program concentrates on rare heirloom and Texas wildflowers grown organically, offered as seasonal cut flowers and arrangements that include branches, vines, and dried pods. We also raise Nigerian Dwarf goats, with kids available for those looking to start their own herd.
All animals are pasture-raised and are never given antibiotics, growth hormones, pesticide-ridden produce, or nutrient-depleted grain. Pigs are fed 100% certified organic, non-GMO, corn and soy free feed sourced from Coyote Creek Farm, and are finished with 100% certified organic barley. Wildflowers and heirloom blooms are grown without the use of herbicides or pesticides.
