Gong Fu Cha tea house and farm-direct Chinese tea shop with indoor and outdoor tea service
West China Tea started in 2012 as a specialty importer of farm-direct Chinese tea. We now operate a large tea house offering hosted tea sits, events, classes, and training alongside more than 200 different teas from more than 40 suppliers across China. Our space combines indoor and outdoor tea service areas, with traditional Chinese furniture rendered in local Texas live-edge cedar. Walk-ins are welcome, and reservations can be booked through our site. We also offer monthly and yearly memberships that include discounts, priority access to limited stock, and free pots of tea per visit. We source tea farm-direct from more than 40 individual suppliers across China, including named producers such as Li Shulin, A Long, Heng Yi, Li Yanmei, and Lin Yaobin. Our catalogue spans white, yellow, green, oolong (Wuyi, Anxi, Phoenix, and Taiwanese), red, pu'er (sheng and shu), hei cha, and herbal teas. Tea is served using Gong Fu Cha method, and we stock the corresponding teaware including gaiwans, teapots, cha pan, and gong dao bei.
