Culinary Life Farm

Culinary Life Farm is a family farm in Kingsbury, Texas, owned and operated by Candie, a Culinary Institute of America graduate and certified permaculture designer. The farm was established in 2021 on acreage between San Antonio and Austin. Our primary focus is raising heritage pork: English Large Blacks and Tamworth pigs raised entirely on pasture with rotational grazing across open pasture and silvopasture. We also raise laying hens on a diet of garden scraps and weeds, which produce eggs with deep-orange, richly flavored yolks. Seasonal produce is grown in on-contour gardens designed to maximize water retention in the central Texas climate. We also offer a CSA with options for produce, eggs, and pork, and plan to host cooking and preservation classes covering canning, fermentation, and scratch cooking. Learn more on their About Page.
