Historic Boggy Creek Farm is a working five-acre urban farm on an 1841 homestead in East Austin, one of the oldest continuously farmed sites in the city. Co-founders Larry Butler and Carol Ann Sayle rescued the property from foreclosure in 1992 and opened it for business by February 1993, establishing one of Austin's first farm stands. Today the farm is run by Carol Ann, her daughter Tracy Geyer, and Tracy's son Jack, keeping three generations at work on the land. The on-site Farmstand Market is open Wednesday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering fresh vegetables and fruits grown in the fields just steps away, along with eggs, local breads, coffee, oils, and preserves. The farm also hosts docent-led tours, volunteer days, private events, and short-term stays for visitors seeking an agritourism experience.

The farm grows vegetables and fruits using regenerative, no-till practices, with a stated focus on soil health. Meats and dairy sold at the farmstand are locally sourced. Eggs sold under the BCF label come from the farm's own hens. The farm has described itself as one of the first urban farms in the United States and remains committed to sustainable agriculture and community education through its tours and volunteer program.
