Historic five-acre urban farm and farmstand selling seasonal vegetables, eggs, locally sourced meats, dairy, and pantry goods.

Boggy Creek Farm is a working five-acre urban farm operating on an 1841 homestead, one of the oldest properties in the city. Co-founders Larry Butler and Carol Ann Sayle purchased the then-abandoned land in 1992, restored it, and opened for business in February 1993. They launched by selling produce from a card table outside a local liquor store before establishing one of the area's first farm stands, which still operates today. The on-site Farmstand Market is open Wednesday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering seasonal fruits and vegetables grown steps away, plus BCF eggs, locally sourced meats, dairy, breads, coffee, oils, and preserves. Today, Carol Ann's daughter Tracy and grandson Jack continue the farm's work. The property also hosts docent-led tours, educational workshops, private events, and agritourism accommodations.

Boggy Creek Farm grows its vegetables and fruits using regenerative, no-till practices with a focus on soil health. The farm raises its own hens and sources soy-free, organic feed milled on-site for the flock. Meats and dairy sold in the farmstand are locally sourced, including naturally raised Longhorn beef and small-batch artisan cheeses. The farm also carries small-batch jams and preserves from local producers. Produce from the farm is sold directly to select local restaurant chefs who source seasonally from the farmstand each week.
