Lone Star Bee Co. is a husband-and-wife business that grew out of a beekeeping hobby started in 2016. We make small-batch infused honeys in a range of distinctive flavors, including Fiery Sweet Mesquite (with fresh jalapeno and habanero peppers), Lucky Lime & Sea Salt (with orange blossom honey and cold-pressed lime oil), and Tuscan Blue Rosemary & Pepper (orange blossom honey with fresh-cut rosemary and cracked black pepper). Our award-winning honeys are designed to pair with everyday foods, from morning toast to charcuterie boards. We are a family-owned small business and pack every bottle by hand. We source our honey from trusted providers in Texas, selecting specific varietals to match each flavor: sweet mesquite honey for our pepper-infused variety and orange blossom honey for our lime and rosemary flavors. We use only natural ingredients and never use artificial flavors or extracts. Our peppers are always fresh, never frozen or dehydrated, and we never use vinegar. The rosemary in our Tuscan Blue variety comes fresh from Patty's Herbs in Pearsall, Texas. During infusing, honey is gently warmed at low temperatures to retain its natural enzymes, vitamins, and nutritional value. Our production facility is FDA registered and cGMP compliant, and we adhere to good manufacturing practices. We donate to the Native Prairies Association of Texas, Blackland Chapter.
