Starry Nights Farm

Our farm is USDA Certified Organic (certified by MOSA) and Animal Welfare Approved by A Greener World. We use no antibiotics, growth hormones, chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides on our animals or land. Cattle are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished: they never receive grain, and there are no GMOs in their diet. We manage 140 acres of pasture using a rotational grazing system, moving cattle through sectioned paddocks every day or few days to let grasses recover and keep root structures intact. In winter, cows eat hay made from our own fields. We raise a diversity of English breeds, including Hereford, Angus, Charolais, Shorthorn, and Belted Galloway. Animals are always outside with fresh air, sunshine, and access to clean water, and are checked twice a day. We practice regenerative agriculture, with the goal of sequestering carbon, supporting wildlife, and improving soil health through grazing rather than harming it.
