Tomato Mountain Farm was started by Chris Covelli in 1993 in Brooklyn, Wisconsin. We run a weekly CSA program built around our own certified organic harvests, complemented by produce, meats, fish, dairy, eggs, grains, and ready-to-eat items from a carefully chosen network of Midwest farmers and producers. Members customize their box each week from a rotating selection that reflects what is actually in season. The farmers and makers we work with are people we know and have worked alongside for years. Tomato Mountain Farm is certified organic by MOSA. All seeds are non-GMO and will remain so. We manage weed pressure without chemicals of any kind and commit to the absolute minimum use of organic pesticides. Our practices include old and new world irrigation methods and active soil health management. Partner farms in our CSA boxes are held to the same philosophy, and many carry their own certifications, including Certified Organic, Certified Naturally Grown, Animal Welfare Approved, and Food Alliance Certified.
